"What Can I make?"
SAORI woven cloth can be made into a wide variety of items, including scarves, bags, wall-hangings, clothing, cushions, rugs, bunting, table runners, flags, community banners and more. Often it is good to try sitting at the loom with an open mind, choosing the colours and yarns as you go along and only deciding an end purpose once the weaving has been taken off the loom and it's qualities revealed.
SAORI weaving is enjoyed by people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds across the world. The Piccolo loom is suitable for even very young children to use; attachments are available for people with physical disabilities to weave and some of the most extraordinary and imaginative SAORI weavings are produced by people with learning disabilities.
