Koinobori Japanese Children's Festival
Join us to celebrate the Koinobori Festival with a special workshop making Paper Koi Carp Streamers
In Japan, families throughout Japan fly Koinobori streamers outside their homes in late April and Early May. To wish for their children the qualities of courage, strength, determination and resilience symbolised by the carp swimming upstream against the current.
Saturday 3rd May

£3 per child (Must be accompanied by an adult)

Bring your fabric scraps, old shirts, tablecloths and sheets to learn how to make a fun and creative quilt!
Quilting is such a good way to use leftover fabric, or to create something both beautiful and practical from beloved old textiles. We'll make a mini quilt together to learn the core steps, which you could use as a wall hanging, baby quilt or table decoration.
