A bit about me... I first heard about Saori in 2006 and was immediately struck by the inclusive philosophy and the beauty of the freestyle weavings. Since that day I have explored both traditional and Saori weaving and have been lucky enough to learn from some wonderful teachers across the world in Europe, Japan and the U.S.A.
I am as excited by Saori as I was at my first discovery and I love enabling others to experience the joy and freedom to be found in weaving the Saori way. I have a particular interest in arts and health projects.
Before starting on my Saori weaving adventures, I worked for 15 years in the community and environmental field. I remain passionate about sustainability and try to incorporate these values into all aspects of my weaving work.
